The next generation of windmills could very be like trees. First, you see one branch with a flower on its extremity, then different branches appear, and you end up with a giant wonderful blooming tree.
Dutch magazine Bright posted a proposition by One Architecture, Ton Matton and NL Architects, commissioned by the Dutch government. The submitted project wind tree could hold up to 8 turbines and be as high as 120 meters.
To us, the best aspect of the project isn’t the multi-turbines tree. It’s the ability to blend a renewable energy technology into our daily landscape.
