CocolicoEach day, one green design.
Image for the article Binvention: Be efficient in recycling your waste

We first saw one of those in a friend’s house two years ago. We like the idea of organizing domestic waste but the model was small, quite cumbersome, and wasn’t really able to handle more than two standard bags.

We classified the idea since then. But recently, we spotted on the Binvention, another home recycling organizer, showcased during the London Design Festival 2006 and short-listed for Best Eco Product at Grand Designs Magazine Awards. Sprout, a UK design agency with a sustainable cord, made it in limited edition but so far, the product has already poured into batch production.

The immediate remark on Binvention is its king size. It’s not something that you could hide easily, nor that your tiny kitchen would welcome warmly. But at least, it is generous about the size of plastic bags and can carry a bunch of them. Note that you can reuse it to handle your magazines. Binvention is available in different colors and made in plastic or in aluminum.
